How the Service Works

  1. Storage assessmentWe review the product, quantity, dimensions, turnover, storage condition and handling profile.
  2. Agreement and inbound planThe storage scope, rates, inventory method and receiving schedule are confirmed.
  3. Receiving and recordingGoods are counted, checked for visible condition and entered into the agreed inventory record.
  4. Storage and order processingInventory is stored and processed according to authorised instructions.
  5. Release and dispatchGoods are released only against approved documents or system instructions.

Required Information and Documents

The customer may be asked to provide:

  • Inbound packing list or inventory manifest
  • SKU, barcode or product-identification data
  • Commercial invoice, challan or proof of ownership
  • Storage, stacking and handling instructions
  • SDS/MSDS for chemicals or regulated products
  • Insurance declaration and authorised release contacts
  • Temperature or quality-control requirements where applicable
Requirements can change by shipment.Cold-chain, food-grade, pharmaceutical, bonded, hazardous or regulated storage is available only where specifically approved and supported by the required licences and facilities.

Warehouse Acceptance and Safety Rules

Warehouse safety depends on truthful product disclosure, suitable packaging and compliance with facility rules.

  • Illegal, prohibited, leaking, infested, unstable or improperly packed goods are not accepted.
  • Dangerous or controlled goods must be declared before arrival and may require specialised storage or be refused.
  • The customer must provide accurate quantity, batch, expiry and handling information where relevant.
  • Access, release and stock movement require authorised instructions.
  • Goods may be rejected if they create safety, contamination, pest, fire or regulatory risk.

Service-Specific Terms and Conditions

  • Storage charges are based on the agreed unit, occupied space, handling activity and storage period.
  • Additional charges may apply for loading, unloading, palletisation, relabelling, stock count, urgent handling or after-hours work.
  • Long-stay, abandoned or unpaid inventory is handled under the signed warehousing agreement and applicable law.
  • Normal warehouse checks do not constitute a full quality inspection unless contracted.

General Logistics Terms and Conditions

  • Service acceptance is subject to the current laws of Bangladesh, the rules of the origin and destination countries, customs requirements, carrier restrictions and operational availability.
  • The customer must provide accurate sender, receiver, commodity, quantity, value, weight, dimensions, purpose and supporting-document information. Any cost, penalty, seizure, delay or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete information remains the customer's responsibility.
  • Prohibited and illegal goods are not accepted. Restricted, controlled, hazardous, perishable, high-value or special-category goods require prior written approval and all mandatory permits, declarations, packaging and labels.
  • Unless expressly included in a written quotation, customs duty, VAT, tax, inspection, permit, port, terminal, storage, demurrage, detention, re-delivery and government charges are payable by the customer, importer, exporter or receiver as applicable.
  • Quoted transit times are estimates rather than guarantees. Customs inspection, airline or shipping-line schedules, weather, congestion, security checks, government action and force-majeure events may change the delivery timeline.
  • Cargo insurance is separate unless specifically stated in writing. Any liability or compensation is determined under the accepted quotation, the selected carrier's conditions and the current FLYEX BD Terms and Conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you store any type of product?

No. Acceptance depends on the product, packaging, regulatory status, facility capability and safety assessment.

Do you provide inventory reports?

Yes, according to the reporting method and frequency agreed for the account.

Is cold storage included?

Cold or temperature-controlled storage is separate and available only when a suitable approved facility is confirmed.

Who can release goods from the warehouse?

Only authorised persons or approved system instructions may release stock.
