How the Service Works

Required Information and Documents

The exact export documents depend on whether the shipment is personal or commercial, the commodity and the destination. Commonly requested documents include:

• Commercial or pro forma invoice with accurate description and value
• Packing list showing quantity, weight and packaging
• Export Registration Certificate (ERC) for applicable commercial exports
• VAT registration or Business Identification Number (BIN), where applicable
• Certificate of origin, product permit, test report or other approval when required
• Air waybill or shipping instruction prepared for the selected service

Export Compliance and Product Restrictions

Exports must comply with Bangladesh law, the destination-country import rules and the selected carrier’s acceptance policy.

• The shipper must declare the correct commodity, value, purpose, quantity, country of origin and HS code where applicable.
• Prohibited export goods and illegal items are never accepted.
• Restricted products may require licences, certificates, no-objection documents or destination permits.
• Dangerous goods require prior approval, correct classification, compliant packaging, labels and declarations.
• The receiver may be responsible for destination duty, tax, permits or import clearance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Service-Specific Terms and Conditions

• The shipper remains the exporter of record unless a different arrangement is confirmed in writing.
• Commercial export documents must match the physical goods and the declared transaction.
• A shipment may be opened or inspected by customs, security or carrier personnel.
• Export incentives, banking documents, bonded procedures and regulatory approvals are outside the standard service unless specifically contracted.

General Logistics Terms and Conditions

• Service acceptance is subject to the current laws of Bangladesh, the rules of the origin and destination countries, customs requirements, carrier restrictions and operational availability.
• The customer must provide accurate sender, receiver, commodity, quantity, value, weight, dimensions, purpose and supporting-document information. Any cost, penalty, seizure, delay or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete information remains the customer's responsibility.
• Prohibited and illegal goods are not accepted. Restricted, controlled, hazardous, perishable, high-value or special-category goods require prior written approval and all mandatory permits, declarations, packaging and labels.
• Unless expressly included in a written quotation, customs duty, VAT, tax, inspection, permit, port, terminal, storage, demurrage, detention, re-delivery and government charges are payable by the customer, importer, exporter or receiver as applicable.
• Quoted transit times are estimates rather than guarantees. Customs inspection, airline or shipping-line schedules, weather, congestion, security checks, government action and force-majeure events may change the delivery timeline.
• Cargo insurance is separate unless specifically stated in writing. Any liability or compensation is determined under the accepted quotation, the selected carrier's conditions and the current FLYEX BD Terms and Conditions.
